CHADD - The National Resource on ADHD (USA)

What is CHADD and who funds the organization? CHADD stands for Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Founded in 1987, CHADD is the United States’s largest nonprofit, family‐based organization serving people affected by AD/HD. The group's goal is to improve the lives of people who are affected by ADHD through education, advocacy, and support. On CHADD's website, resources like blogs, support groups, and even connecting with an ADHD Information Specialist are available. CHADD is a membership-based organization and information regarding the organization's funding can be found under their "About Us" section. Questions about funding can also be answered by the CHADD communications department (301‐306‐7070, ext. 128).
